I think i'm going off my viper

    Ive recently been using my Eclipse II more at rehersals instead of my SS Viper. I think i just prefer the tone through my 5150, it somehow seems to have less bright top end. This could be because of the rosewood, ive not used a rosewood board guitar for years as all my ESPs had ebony. It also seems as though the viper is a bit thinner sounding. I've got an Eclipse FT on order, wonder how that'll sound next to the Eclipse II...?

    If you prefer the feel of the Viper you could always EQ the brightness out a bit. Doesnt always work but worth a try.

    Otherwise, well thats the beauty of guitars. They all have their own charms.
