What could be better than an excellent game major league baseball on a perfect evening in May? How about if James Hetfield and Kirk Hammett of Metallica are there to perform the National Anthem? Since 2013, the San Francisco Giants have hosted these Bay Area metal heroes on a special "Metallica Night" event each year, with proceeds from the special event going to worthy causes. This year, it was held on Tuesday May 24, and after James gave the team some good luck by tossing out the first pitch from the rubber, they beat the New York Mets 13-12 in a thrilling 9th inning victory.

But more importantly, the entire event helped support Metallica's All Within My Hands Foundation, the band's non-profit, philanthropic organization that's dedicated to creating sustainable communities by supporting workforce education, the fight against hunger, and other critical local services. ESP chipped in as we've done in the past to provide two custom guitars that are being raffled off so some lucky fan will get to own them, with all proceeds assisting this excellent cause.

People who donate will have a chance to win an ESP James Hetfield Signature Series ESP Snakebyte or an ESP Kirk Hammett Signature Series ESP KH-2, both painted with custom designs for the Giants and signed by all four members of Metallica (James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich, Kirk Hammett, and Robert Trujillo). These are the actual guitars that James and Kirk used for the National Anthem performance.
