ESP Bass Rocker Marco Mendoza Releases "Viva La Rock"

Marco Mendoza, the rock/metal bass player and vocalist who has seen stints with artists and bands including Neal Schon (Journey), Whitesnake, Thin Lizzy, Ted Nugent and many others (and is a current member of classic rock kings The Dead Daisies) has just released a new solo album. Viva La Rock, Marco's first new collection of songs in seven years, came out on March 2. The album was recorded in Copenhagen, and was co-produced by Soren Andersen (Glenn Hughes/Mike Tramp).

Marco's LTD Signature Series bass, the MM-4FM, is designed to be as versatile as its designer. Whether you're playing aggressive metal, laid-back blues, or anything in between, the MM-4FM is a 34" scale bass that combines traditional design with modern performance features and feel. It offers a comfortable alder body with a flamed maple top in sumptuous Dark See Thru Green Sunburst finish. The MM-4FM also includes a fast five-piece maple/walnut neck with a maple fingerboard that offers 21 extra-jumbo frets. Components on Marco's bass include Grover tuners with a Hipshot extender on the low string, a Gotoh bridge, and Seymour Duncan Hot P and Hot J pickups.

Marco is in the midst of a European tour to help promote the new album. See below for upcoming dates, and check Marco's site for info on ordering the new album!
