Bass Musician Mag Reviews the LTD Bunny Brunel BB-1004

Ty Campbell, a professional bass player in Nashville and product reviewer for Bass Musician Magazine, recently took the LTD Bunny Brunel Signature Series BB-1004 bass out for a test drive, and he liked the results... a lot.

"If I had to choose one word for the Bunny Brunel LTD BB-1004 Signature 4-String it would be – beautiful! – Beautiful in looks, tone, and playability."

Ty goes on to say, "The tone is clean, punchy, and defined. Playability is second to none. The 34” three-piece maple asymmetrical neck with the neck thru configuration is sleek and fast, not too thin, just right and made complete with a 24 fret Ebony fingerboard. The tone is a combination of the alder body with a quilted maple top, along with Aguilar passive pickups and the Aguilar OBP-3EQ 3 band EQ. The bridge pickup is the Aguilar 4J HC and the neck pickup is the Aguilar MM."

As most of you know, Bunny Brunel is one of the most respected bass players in jazz, having recorded and played live with iconic musicians like Chick Corea, Herbie Hancock, Wayne Shorter, Jack DeJohnette, Natalie Cole, Stevie Wonder, and many more. His LTD Signature Series basses include the BB-1004 and 5-string BB-1005, which is available in Burnt Orange and Black Aqua finishes.

That is a beautiful bass. Do it has a drop switch on the tuner? Can't really see on my phone.
