Death Angel to Help Victims of North Bay Wildfires

In October, the area north of San Francisco Bay, including California's renowned Wine Country, was devastated by a series of wildfires, which were the most destructive in the history of California. Our friends in Death Angel, the legendary Bay Area thrash band, wanted to help out the people whose lives were impacted by the horrible blazes. So, working along with the United Way as well as music/gear manufacturers like ESP and others, the band is going to raise some much needed cash for this crucial cause!

A portion of every ticket and merch item sold for the band's fourth annual “Another Death Angel Xmas Show(s)”, being held at Slim's in San Francisco on December 15 and 16, will raise money for those affected. Additionally, they're holding a raffle on both nights to win awesome prizes... including an LTD Ted Aguilar Signature Series TED-600. Other raffles prizes have been provided by companies like Teac, Dunlop Electronics, Pearl Drums, Meinl Cymbals and Vic Firth. Raffle tickets are available at both shows for only $5 each. 100% of their raffle ticket sales will be donated to the cause. The band also lets us know that you will get a "... limited edition Death Angel toothbrush with each purchase (while supplies last) so you can keep those pearly whites clean." Bonus! Visit the Death Angel site for more info and to buy tickets.

The relief efforts provided via the United Way will include providing basic needs services to individuals and assisting the non-profit agencies that serve the most vulnerable residents in communities affected by the fires. Long-term recovery support includes items like food and rent assistance to help people who have lost employment, case management services, and mental health counseling.
