LTD Alexi-200 Available for Charity Auction

Here at espguitars.com, we try and give you information that's valuable to you as a musician. A lot of this is direct knowledge about topics like choosing guitars and basses that are right for you, or ways that successful musicians have approached their careers. Above all, we try and be real with you, and while most of the news is positive, the fact is that like any other occupation, there are upsides and downsides to being a professional musician. Perhaps first and foremost is that like all human beings, musicians grow old and run into health issues and disabilities. Unlike many jobs that offer benefits like health insurance or pension plans, an alarming number of musicians don't have access to these things, or simply can't afford them.

The good news is that time and time again, musicians have shown that we truly care about each other's well being. In this case, Children of Bodom's frontman Alexi Laiho has signed one of his Signature Series guitars, the LTD Alexi-200, and ESP has donated that guitar to Sweet Relief Musicians Fund, a 501(c)(3) charity that was founded in 1994 by musician Victoria Williams. Sweet Relief provides financial assistance to all types of career musicians who are struggling to make ends meet while facing illness, disability, or age-related problems.

If you're in a position to help give back to the musical community who has given so much to you, we highly encourage you to do so. Check out the auction on Alexi's guitar now, and put in a bid if possible.
