Most of you know him as Kirk Hammett, the quiet, mild-mannered lead guitarist of iconic band Metallica. But for reasons no one clearly understands, at certain times he changes into his alter ego... Kirk von Hammett, devious purveyor of mischief and unpredictable fun. It's at the height of this horrifying transformation that KVH puts on his "Kirk von Hammett's Fear FestEVIL", an event that combines Kirk's loves of music and the macabre, and it's happening this weekend (April 11/12, 2015) at the RockBar Theater in San Jose, CA.

If you're headed to San Jose to scare (or be scared by) the other attendees, don't forget that ESP will be there as well as a vendor at the Fiend Market. You can check out some of our more frightening guitars and basses at our booth, but there's another reason to go: Kirk will be giving away two prototypes of his yet-to-be-released LTD Kirk Hammett Nosferatu guitars to a lucky ghoul... uh, guest! ESP won't even be offering these guitars in stores until late 2015, so just checking out these new additions to our KH Signature Series is worth the trip. While you're there, you'll have plenty of opprtunities for fun... and fear, with live music, costume contests, car shows, carnival festivities, and more.
