Nick is using his LTD Deluxe H-1007, which allows him to easily access the lower register notes required for this tune. Here's the tip: you don't have to confine yourself to music that originated in the rock and metal realms; instead, add your own twist to any song out there that can use the benefit of your own tastes and skills.
