As the guitarist for American metal masters Lamb of God, Will Adler required a guitar that could handle his powerful yet nuanced playing style. The LTD WA-WARBIRD is excellent for any genre of music where high-performance guitar playing is a must. It offers set-thru construction, with the neck extending into the guitar's body cavity and offering smooth and fast access to the highest frets. The WA-WARBIRD has a mahogany body, a three-piece thin U-shaped maple neck, and an ebony fingerboard with 22 extra-jumbo frets.  Its sound is powered by a set of Fishman Fluence® Modern Humbucker pickups... the smooth Alnico in the neck and the aggressive Ceramic in the bridge. Controls on the WA-WARBIRD include individual volume controls for each pickup, a push-pull switch on the tone control to choose pickup voicings, and a pickup selector toggle. Available in Black with Will's Warbird graphic.

This is going to be an odd question, does this come with a certificate of authenticity and is it signed by will addler? Also as far as the hardware does the hardware finish age in the same way that the distressed version ends up in? I'm not asking about the finish and paint on the body but under the black coating on the actual hardware is there a bronze/copper finish under them which will with time and use wear down into the same colors as the distressed model?

Hi, Is the Wa-Warbird blk LTD still avail?

Carl N.

yes, this is still a current model

King_Hanneman

Do you guys plan to release a disressed version for this model? And not the WA-200 version

Carl N.

The ESP version that is currently being produced will be the only distressed option available

King_Hanneman

Thats a terrible shame, almost nobody has $8000 to spend on a guitar, nobody from the real world anyways lol. Hopefully in the future it may change, the black and white warbird is too clean looking, not metal lol
