    Here's Jamie Ryan of the French metal band Mass Hysteria doing a demo of the LTD Deluxe Phoenix-1004 in three finishes: Black, Silver Sunburst Satin, and Tobacco Sunburst Satin. These are outstanding basses designed for professional recording and stage work. The Phoenix-1004 Black offers a neck-thru-body design at 34" scale, a five-piece mahogany/walnut neck that has a satin finish on the back for smooth playability, 21 extra-jumbo stainless steel frets, Gotoh 201B-4 bridge, and a set of outstanding EMG 35P4 and EMG 35J pickups. With the Silver Sunburst Satin and Tobacco Sunburst Satin versions, you get a set of versatile, great-sounding Fishman Fluence SB-1 active pickups with neck volume, bridge volume, and tone control that has push/pull for single-coil mode voicing.

    I love checking the demo of a bass with an audio mix that is 50% high gain guitar, 40% drums and 10% bass.
