Has this guitar a "real"maple top or is it a veneer?

Fuzzface2018

I have this model and its awesome! The neck, weight and Fishman Fluence pickups are versatile and have little or no hum at all. By far the best guitar I've had.

Silly question, but I couldn't find this anywhere. Is it possible to have the neck pickup on voice 3 and the bridge pickup on voice 2 at the same time?

First I bought the Ephiphone Slash Appetite burst which looks similar to this one. I took it back and bought this one.  The build quality, especially the fretboard was better on the LTD like my others.  Glad I picked this up. It’s a classic.

Does this guitar come with stainless steel frets? Bought one from Sweetwater that was manufactured in July 2021. Serial Number: IW21071232

HyperFocus

I have this guitar and it's basically my favorite finish on any of the Eclipse models including the EII and ESP ranges so I hope they keep it going. Mine came with a couple inconsistencies I noted in videos online of people with this model and that is the Switch and the Nut are black not cream but they are good quality. I do wish traditional thickness ECs had a slightly thicker neck profile instead of the same thin u. I think it's safe to assume a consumer buying something "Traditional Thickness" wouldn't be terribly upset if the neck profile was a bit more "traditional" too. I knew this when I got it though and It's not ultra thin to a point of feeling like it's fragile + it has a volute.

I wish more of the other 24/passive/thin body guitars were satin trans finish like this.

Thedavehammett345

This guitar it reminds me the Slash`s Gibson signature a little bit

Great guitar, great fret job, finish and pickups, plays like butter.

Javier A.

Just got it and i love everything about this guitar !! BUT, the nut, for this high quality models you should at least offer graphite or Graphtech TUSQ

Kamren K.

This is everything I’m looking for from an eclipse except one thing: the standard slim body with the belly cut. The color is one of my favorites offered at any level in ESP and/or LTD, 22-frets!, set through neck!, and the pickups! (Fishmans are not offered at the E-II level).

Please offer this exact guitar with the slim body that ESP is loved for!

Are the frets stainless steal?

Todd B. ESP

Hello, only the new for 2021 models have stainless steel frets. We will be offering more models with stainless frets every year when we release new models.

If you have any questions not answered on our product page, please contact ESP Customer Service at customerservice@espguitars.com

The only reason I asked is I'll be receiving mine tomorrow from zzounds. I don't know what yr. model it will be do you have a way to tell the yr. of it and also I see that Fishman has a  Fishman Fluence Rechargeable battery pack can this be installed on this guitar?

John A.

Hi all. Just received my EC1000T. Its beautiful!

Im very pleased but...

Just wondered if I should have got any docs, leaflets, booklets or instructions on the use of the pick-ups, or what-not? AKA case candy?

There was nothing in the box apart from the guitar and 2 allen wrenches.

Can anyone help or advise me?

Thanks very much.

Niko K.

I wrote to ESP Guitars asking the same.
This is what I got:

Todd B. ESP

Hi, Glad to hear you like your new instrument.

You can find  our standard owner's manual on our website support section here: https://cdn.connectsites.net/user_files/esp/site_assets/000/000/436/original.pdf , however a printed version is no longer available.

The basic functionality is listed on the description of this product page and you can also find more info about Fluence Open Core Classic pickups here: https://www.fishman.com/portfolio/fluence-open-core-classic-humbucker-pickups/

If you have any more questions, please contact ESP Customer Service at customerservice@espguitars.com

What is the recommended polish/wax for this guitar?

Todd B. ESP

We recommend using a clean dry cloth. If you polish or wax this finish, the satin finish will turn shiny. Please contact customerservice@espguitars.com should you need any assistance.

Niko K.

Can you easily switch the pickups with Fishman Fluence Modern or do you need additional work on the electronics?

Todd B. ESP

Hi, this should be relatively easy to do. The only thing that wouldn't work is the voice 3 on the 2nd control (because Fishman Modern do not have voice 3). The pickups would simple plug in to the existing wiring, and you would probably have to disconnect the wires going to the middle push pull pot. You can contact Fishman for help with wiring or contact our customer service at customerservice@espguitars.com

Help!! The shaft on the push pull pot that controls coil split came completely out of the pot.

I can replace it no problem. What kind of push pull pot do I need for replacement?

Thx, chris

Hey same problem for me my toggle switch on the neck pup 95 % of the works. And i bought the ltd ec-1000t with Fishman pickups

And also i think they are faulty or cheap toggle switches. You can feel it when switching from bridge to neck.

Gonna have to get a multimeter and pin point this stuff out.

And i had some other issue. My bridge pup was installed backwards. The guitar was not

Properly setup (no biggie there, i always check my intonation, action, etc..)

But seeing the bridge pup installed backwards kinda made m feel PISSED!

Anybody has some help or issues or whatever my email is paul.g.arrigo@gmail.com

On the fifth day, the bridge pickup completely failed. When I opened the cover of the timbre block, I noticed that the individual contacts were poorly soldered. The contact from the neck-pickup on the volume potentiometer was held on two wires and broke off at the first touch. I never found the bridge sensor problem. Very disappointed.

I am disappointed to find that I have a similar problem...Spent over $1000, and now after just a few days, a pickup is failing. I have to return it or get it fixed, due to a manufactuing flaw.

Kirby O.

i'm curios to know what differentiations is approximately between this guitar and the standard ec models that have a thinner, solid body? I have back problems and actually purchased this guitar online but had to return it for other reasons but weight wise it was great

Carl N.

It's about 10mm thinner, though if weight is a concern the weight between these instruments will generally be the same, but weight can vary from instrument to instrument so this might be something better for you to buy in person.

Santiago A.

I am looking for an e-ii in this finish. Can’t seem to find it. Does ESP still make them? If not, is it possible to get this ltd with seymour duncans?

Carl N.

All of our models listed are offered with the specifications shown, unless you order a custom instrument there are not alternative options than what we have on our site.  This finish is only available on this model currently.
