I have a question, why is the bridge sloped? Any ways to fix it?

Emmanuel A.

It is the second esp guitar that I have bought, the first (m-50) came with uneven frets, and this one is worse, with a crooked neck, uneven frets, the pickup selector hits the wood in the first pickup position, The quality control in low-end ltd leaves much to be desired, apart from the fact that the bridge goes out of tune with the use of the tremolo bar, the pickups are not good, they make noise, the materials are not worth the price, I do not recommend this guitar.

This is the second guitar that I buy from ltd or esp and they do not comply with a good quality control, the guitar came to me with uneven frets and therefore a very high action, the crooked fingerboard and the repair cost me almost as much as the guitar, in addition to the fact that the bridge goes out of tune a lot when using the tremolo, I do not recommend this guitar.

Hello Everyone. In the comments Mr "Todd B. ESP" said that this guitar matches 50 and 100 Series guitars in terms of performance. I would like to just reconfirm this point with any official moderators here. There is very little information regarding this guitar over the net !!!!!

Carl N.

This model would be in line with our 100 series models.  This is also an exclusive instrument for the Chinese domestic market, for further information and pricing/availability please reach out to the Chinese ESP distributor.

MT-130 is gaining popularity in India. People are reviewing it very positively. I want to choose a guitar between MT-130 and F-10 of F-Series. But because of COVID lockdown, I can't go out and test by myself and there aren't many reviews available online on these two models. It would really help me if you can clarify these questions:

  1. What are the key highlights of these two models which differentiate them from each other except the pickup setup?
  2. Since LTD guitars always have great playability so I am sure both are going to be a gem to play with. But comparing these 2, which one is more inclined towards shredding and fast playing? Which one has a comparatively thinner and fast neck? In which higher frets are more accessible?
  3. I am not sure but I think F-10 was launched 10 years back and MT-130 2 years back. By a layman's logic, the newer will be better in terms of electronics and wood selection. How do MT-130 electronics compared to F-10? In the last 10 years was the F-10 model refreshed or is it still the same as the first model?
Carl N.

These models will be very similar in terms of specifications, the main differences are the body shapes, pickups, and bridge systems.  Either of these instrument could shred, as long as their player is able.

What Gauge strings are used in MT-130?

Carl N.

should be standard 9-42

Hello. I'm from India and I've seen this being sold on Amazon and whatnot. I was wondering if this guitar is superior in sound and quality to the EC-10 and the Viper 10? Is this similar to the M-10?

Would really help me out in making my purchase decision, thank you.

Carl N.

The pickups will be similar in those models but the single coil pickups will offer different tonal capabilities

Walker A.

Hi, I saw this guitar in Peru. I would like to know what series this guitar (MT-130) is similar to, and if it is superior to the EC-10. I will wait anxiously for your answer, thank you very much.

Todd B. ESP

Hi Walker A, Thanks for your question. This is a special model we only make for certain International markets but it is growing in popularity. It has a lot of features and great price point. If you compare to EC-10, other than the shape, it has more features like 3 pickups, 5-way switch, arrowhead inlays, tremolo bridge, and multiple colors. So it probably has more value than EC-10. If you like the shape of our M series then we recommend you check it out for sure!
