The ESP Guitar Company

I'm gonna be in the market soon for a recording software package and am looking for experience-based input. I don't like being overwhelmed with tons of intricate features i'll never bother learning to use. I'm looking for simple, effective, and easy to use. Right now I use a Zoom PS04 Palmtop Studio which is fine for portable digital 4 track recording, but i'm looking for something to use on PC so I don't have to keep fumbling with a piece of hardware that's not much bigger than your average pedal. Any info would be appreciated. EDIT: Sorry, didn't see the other thread about this topic. I'll just comb that one for info. Thanks.
