ESP SPARKLE OUIJA (Tracking)
ESP SPARKLE OUIJA (Tracking)
Hello guys,
Here is a thread to track the red and purple ESP Sparkle Ouija serial numbers, their respective owners and the Country the guitar is located in.
There are not too many of these guitars out there, so it shouldn't be that hard lol.
The names in bold text are the current owners of these guitars that are forum members.
The names in regular text are the guitar owners or previous owners that I am unsure if they are forum members or not as that is all the information I have on them.
If anyone can send me extra info and/or pics that would be great also. Or any corrections that need to be made, just let me know here or via PM.

Benny, these new Sparkle Ouijas are two of the best Hammett guitars ever made mate.
I also own the 98 Ouija and as cool as that guitar is, these new Sparkle Ouijas will blow you away with their build quality, their look and their tone.
It’s a huge investment, but you only live once and there aren’t too many of us out there that own both of these guitars.
let's say i'm very unlucky.. i just purchased them, when trying them out at home red one was perfect, purple one, the bridge pickup sounded very odd, low output, sounded like a single coil.. everything was checked at omega (shop) and it's def. not the wiring/switch etc. it's the pickup.....
They are still waiting for an answer on how to solve this with ESP (since it's painted).. Anyone handled with them before on a similar situation?
That is a bummer. Are the connections at the pot soldered or is it all quick-connect? I'd try wiring the pickup straight to the jack, just to confirm. (They may have done this, I'm just saying what I'd do.) Everything else is easy to replace, but yeah, dealing with a busted painted pickup would suck.
ye it's all quick connect..
interested to see how they resolve this..
been over a week now with no answer, hopefully tomorow,
i also suggested just now maybe swap pickups (since it's quick connect it's plug&play) to def. make sure it's
the pickup.. I could do all that but i just bought them, i'd rather have the shop deal with it than fiddle with anything myself.
hi,
how are these compared to '98 ouija's, kh2's etc. (as i own those allready)
I'm doubting to pull the trigger in purchasing 2 of them atm. it's a high price tag and i would buy them to play them
not to 'hopefully' someday cash on them (don't think that they will go much higher than retail) so it's a big investement for me atm.
