    Hello there, so i got my guitar around 6 weeks ago it played really well until last week, it only makes noise when i touch the cable end the one that goes into the guitar and the string(s) i thought it had a loose wire or something  so i took it to local shop to get it fixed after couple of days, they told me everything is fine and i should send it back to the shop that i got it from. Any ideas whats wrong with it is it manufacturers fault or i did something to it btw i never have dropped it, bumped it or anything like that

    Have you tried a different cable?

    You could also check continuity from the ground of the guitar back to the output jack with a multimeter or test-light, and check the other side of the 1/4 output jack back to the wires going to the pots.

      ^Sounds like a good idea to me. I'd also check the battery since it does carry active pickups? I don't know if a bad battery could cause your problem ae but I figured it may not hurt to check along with the cable.
