B stock can mean anything from an open-box guitar, to one that was returned for whatever reason, to one with finish blemishes or other irregularities. Most are 100% fine but sometimes you will get a lemon... caveat emptor.

I wouldn't mind one of the cheaper EC401's

I have viewed a few of these before. Some have had cracks in the headstock (an MH417...) or have had finish dings (various other models...). The seller usually posts pics of whatever damage the guitar will have. Some aren't bad, while others are kinda if-y... You can tell by reading the description and looking at how bad the damage is and if you wanna or if you really should be taking a chance on some of them that appear more serious.
