What string size come stock on these?
Not sure if it is my set up problem or what. When I compare this with my 2004 JH600 (which comes with Floyd), the sustain is quite bad. It feels like I have put on a noise gate to cut off the solo awkwardly. But actually, I am playing direct through an amp. I consulted with wammi world. They advised me to change the Kahler roller to Teflon and bring up the saddle. But I guess then I have to compromise on the string height. The sound on this one is also brighter as compare with the Floyd version. Anyone has any suggestion?
I do have a noise gate on mine. I can get it to sound just like Slayer and I think this is what it is built to sound like. My other guitar is a Fender Strat with a Floyd Rose and is much harder to play. I also have a Metal zone, Graphic Eqlz and the noise gate all made by Boss. I love this guitar and kiss it everytime I take it out of the case!
Got mine yesterday, #13, pretty damn fitting! Think I got one of the last ones from Musicians Friend at the end of December, so far it feels great.

Gentlemen! I received my JHT today it is number 64... Which is the year Jeff was born, so I am very pleased!!!! It showed up tuned to E, I rite away tuned it to D sharp. And just like all of you I think it is great. It's alot easier to play then my strat, so I will be practicing all the Slayer songs that I know, starting with Angel of Death!
Where did you get it? I thought it wouldn't be in untill march.
I canceled the Musicians Friend order and got one on Amazon, a company called six string in Canoga Park, CA. I had it within 3 days of ordering it. It also came with a hard case for the same price that MF just sold the Guitar for.

Got mine today !!!! So far Ilove it. I already have the JH 600 and I love that guitar. This is pretty much the same thing only with the camo graphic and 12th fret inlay. I got serial number 5 of 100 I'd like to know who got tha first one off the line. How cool would that be?
Yes mine also needs oiled. Congrats on your purchase. I feel any body who bought one is fortunate to have one and lucky to have donated to a great organization "Wounded Warrior Project". I feel the quality on the graphic edge could have been better along with some other minor details but still all in all one hell of an axe. I got mine yesterday. #73 of 100. The G string keeps getting flat after dive bombing. Other than that, everything else is fine. Although I prefer the matte satin finish on other urban camo series, instead of this gloss finish. R.I.P. Jeff!

how do i go about winning a fuckin raffle or getting my named chosen out of a giant hat or however u guys feel is suitable for me to go ahead and win that there guitar. because truthfully i would cut off both of my legs and put hot coals in my boxers for whatever time span is neccesary just to have that guitar. i hope u esp guys will consider the fact also that i do have a terminal disease that requires a camoflauge guitar just like that one in order for me to remain some what healthy!!!!

I agree John P. If they do use a solid color on the and neck,I hope it is white or gray, not black.
I pre ordered one too. For the price, they should have kept the finish all over and cut corners with cheaper hardware that I could easily upgrade....maybe they are just prototypes? :)
i just found a pic on gogle images at summer NAMM. looks like front is camo and the back is black. I'm NOT happy about this as I have already preordered one. The same goes for the ride the lightning guitar.
