      The single coil "voicing" is on certain models of the Fluence pickups, such as the Kieth Merrow set. The Modern set does have the option to get a single coil mode - in either side coil (bridge side OR neck side...), but you would have to pull the pickup out and solder to the back of the pickup and then to either another push/pull pot or to a 5-way switch, depending on how you want to access those single coil tones and in which combination...

       

      As far as MIK or MII, to me it won't matter one bit...

        As far as I know the 1000 series comes from Korea, but lately Indonesia proved that they can create exellent guitars similiar or maybe better than Korean made.

          Very nice! I also hope there will be something similar in series 400 and 1000 - both with bolt on neck and seymour duncans. Color is great!
