Hello, please your support. Can I play the model TL6, without amplifier?.

Todd B. ESP

Hi, for support please contact our customer service team at customerservice@espguitars.com . TL-6 models can be played without amplifier, but they are intended to be plugged into an amplifier for the best sound.

Please, please make a wine red edition of this guitar and bring back the black one too.

I've been holding out for a Black one, or at least something more "stand out" than the natural one!

Surely ESP/LTD will hit one out for 2023 now that Polyphia fans are buying up all the thinline nylon strings, I dare day Ibanez will be releasing a new nylon model next year.

Overall a very nice guitar, especially for the price. A couple of points:

  • If you're a classical player the neck will feel quite small, but it's not too hard to adapt to.
  • On classical I use hard tension strings, but I've found that normal tension work better on this guitar.
  • Also, the tuner is a little imprecise compared to my Snark clip-on, but it's usable.
  • Finally, the proportions are a bit different if you're used to a classical guitar. There's much more guitar between the bridge and the end of the instrument which make sitting in a classical position a little awkward. It makes the neck feel quite long. Again, it's something that's not difficult to adapt to, especially if you use a strap and stand while you play. Having a nylon string guitar that you can stand and play is a part of the appeal of the guitar anyway.

I can definitely recommend this guitar for someone on a budget who wants the most for their buck.

Hi, Thank you for your thoughtful review.

Andrew P.

I would highly recommend this guitar if you play classical, and want a quality, comfortable guitar to practice when you don't want to play loud.
