Dom C.

Question.. I saw this guitar on Amazon and it had a few things different about it than what's listed here. On Amazon, the guitar has a Rosewood fingerboard and does not have the bone breaker pickups (instead it has the 60/81 EMGs). Is there a way I can get this guitar with the Rosewood fingerboard? The darker wood looks better in my opinion. Or is this only available with the Pau Ferro fingerboard? Thank you!

Carl N.

Hey Dom, these previously were made with rosewood prior to the tightening of CITES regulations on the use of that wood.  If the older one is what you are after I would order it from the seller advertising it as such.  The current LTD models will have pau ferro fingerboards.

Bought this baby a year ago and no regrets. Especially after the paint job.

Very cool!

Hello, when I place my order, is the guitar I will receive the same as the one shown in the image?

Thank you!

Carl N.

Hey Francisco, yes this is the current KH-602 model that is being produced and shipped.

Hello,

what is the difference between the guitar with KH-602 on fret block and the new one without? price? Quality?

Thank you

Carl N.

Hey Muhammed, they're the same guitar.  The one with the inlay block was updated to what you see on our site now.

I received the ESP LTD KH-602 guitar as a birthday present a little over a month ago. Just two days ago, the little piece on the bridge where the whammy bar gets screwed in to the floyd rose fell inside the guitar. I haven’t been able to have a good look at it yet but I’m hoping I don’t have to completely replace it with a new floyd rose bridge. Some assistance with this problem would be greatly appreciated!

Turn the guitar around, take off the back plate where the springs are, it should be floating around in there unless it fell out and is now on the floor. Remember, Youtube is your friend when it comes to looking for repair or parts problems, solutions etc for the guitar. Try and be specific but simple whem typing query. Alot of problems are not specific guitar make problems just general wear and tear on all makes is similiar. Especially Floyds can need a quick tightening before use.You can buy replacement Floyd Whammy bars that come with all the inserts, take of back plate, look at the back of the tremolo and undo a screw at the bottom of the whammy insert. Look at the top, undo any screw holding the round srew in place and you can take it off. Reverse to put back on. I bought a Schaller whammy bar and it was much better than the Floyd, as the Floyd was all loosy goosey.

No need to buy a new Trem for a simple fix. Buy the Schaller whammy bar. It is the best.
