Hi everyone.

Im the owner of this beauty from few weeks. Sounds great and generally looks nice.

Sadly:

1. During the string changing i discover that bridge is tightined only on one side, i almoust scratched the guitar because it started to rotate without strings.

2. 3 tuning Keys was also not tightined (i could rotate nuts by fingers)

3. Baterry cover. Even toys producents found a way how to make battery cover easier to open. I spend 20 minutes trying to open it and it is still not possible. I affraid that I will scratch the guitar by using screwdriver.

Where is QC?

I have by now received and tested two of these EC-1001s and truly love the different sounds of the highly versatile Fishman Open Core pickups. Unfortunately, both guitars were Indonesia-made and workmanship was not good, e.g. the pots and toggle-switch were inserted off-center in their slots which looked odd and the middle position of the toggle-switch wasn't working properly in both cases so I eventually returned them to the dealer. Is this model by any chance also still produced in South Korea and if so, how can I find out where to get a Korean-made model (someone noted having received one below)? I would love to buy and play this guitar - if properly manufactured ... thanks!

Had this one a few weeks now and liking it more and more each day, wasn’t sure about the Fishmans at first but now that it’s been setup and dialed in feeling better about em.

I finally got a new one earler today, and I got lucky and got one that looks just like the main picture here..the Flame top looks amazing !!

I have gone over the guitar and really nothing to report except its badass and ready to go..I did change the strings out to DR Pure Blues, they seem to work well for me on guitars that have bridges like these, and their tone lasts a long time..

I did take the battery cover off to load a new battery into it and it already had a hot battery in it so I sealed it up.and plugged it into both my EVH Stealth amps and all pickup positions work fine and sound like they're supposed to..I do like the stainless steel frets, the fretboard is spotless and not dry,but I did lube it up a little with the F-One oil,and wiped it off.

One thing i really like it the battery cover holes have the little pressed it brass threaded inserts so the wood doesn't strip out+ I have a lot of extra ones of these myself,so I will do the electronics cover, their is plenty of room..also I did but the rechargeable battery kit and I will install it tomorrow so this guitar will be set on kill, its one awesome beast !

The resonance of the mahogany body and flamed Maple cap sets off great overtones and huge chunk and sustain, even at the lowest volumes..its all the guitar I was hoping it would be,and OMG the clear finish over the Tiger Eye flamed Maple top is gorgeous.

Overall so happy I finally bought one,I was on a waiting list for 3-4 months but I decided to but other things for my car,but finally got it !

Thanks ESP !!
