EC-1001T CTM

SILVER SUNBURST SATIN

$1,099.00

The LTD EC-1000 remains one of ESP’s most popular guitar series, offering the tone, feel, looks, and quality that working professional musicians need in an instrument, along with the pricing that serious musicians can afford. The newly-updated EC-1001T/CTM is an incredible guitar that offers quality and features not found on instruments that cost much more. It starts with a traditional full-thickness body that is chambered for weight relief, using set-thru construction with a mahogany body and maple cap, 3-piece mahogany neck, and 22-fret Macassar ebony fingerboard, and multi-ply body/neck/headstock binding on body top and back. The EC-1000T/CTM includes a set of EMG 66TW/EMG 57TW pickups with brushed black chrome covers. These “TWIN” pickups are being offered for the first time on a production guitar, and allow users to split the active neck and bridge pickups with push-pull controls for each pickup on its respective volume knob. Available in Snow White and Silver Sunburst Satin finishes.

Don't judge them just because they are made in indonesia, i work in a big music store in my country, last year i wanted to buy a EC-1000T and i tried at least 4 of those guitars before buying one, the first 3 that i tried were korean made, all of them with bad fret work, twisted neck joints and imperfect finishes, the last one was made in indonesia and it was perfect. Give them a try!

Hi Aiol, thanks for your comments. I'm happy to hear you like the quality of our guitars made in Indonesia. However I'm disappointed to hear the quality of the guitars you checked from Korea was not good. Regardless of where we manufacture our instruments we do our best to insure the best quality possible and stand behind our quality and warranty.

Oh my god!!! made in indonesia no!!!!

Highly disappointed to see all these new models being made in Indonesia. ESP is one of my favorite brands and I hate to see them cut corners. They should keep the deluxe series Korean made.

marcelo s.

Totally agree...what a shame, just when I was thinking in a new EC deluxe...maybe I can still find a 2018 Korea

Todd B. ESP

HI Marcelo, I suggest you try one out. Don't rule it out just because it is made in Indonesia.

marcelo s.

what's the difference with the 401 now? just locking tuners and locking tailpiece?

Todd B. ESP

Hi Marcelo, the main difference is what you pointed out, locking tuners and Tonepros bridge, but also the pickups in the EC-1001T CTM are the new EMG 57/66-TW set which with metal covers which allow you to split the coils. One more thing is fingerboard being ebony for many of the 1000 series compared to pau ferro for the 400 series.

Don't judge before you try one.

Depending on where you buy, you may be able to return the guitar if it is below your expected quality.

On the other hand, if I buy this guitar, it will be a special order through ESP dealer who doesn't sell any LTD guitar. It will come with no return policy. I can't check or try beforehand. I have to accept and pay it regardless of its quality.

Todd B. ESP

Hi Johny, thanks for your comments. If you wish to purchases one please check our dealer or distributor list and hopefully you can find a dealer who has a standard return policy should you need it.

Hi Seth, thanks for your comments. We always maintain our quality level and it's something we've always been known for. So whether we produce an instrument in Indonesia or Korea, or anywhere else,  we'll ensure that the quality meets our high standards for the appropriate price point. I understand that Korea has manufactured some really great instrument but Indonesia is now where we and a lot of other brands manufacture some of our best instruments.
