Hello,

I know you said the ebony top version is no longer in production, but it is far superior in terms of looks to the new one. Is there any chance I could get the ebony version? I'd pay extra just to get the ebony body like in the previous iteration. Great basses by the way.

    Hey Matěj, unfortunately we since this would be a discontinued instrument it would be no longer available from us, though you may be able to come across one within our dealers' inventory.  If spending more for one doesn't phase you then our ESP Japan custom shop could always produce one specifically for you.

        Hello there,

        I just bought this Bass a around two weeks ago and it is really great to play along with it. I was searching for the best way to take care about it but I dont find anything about which kind of maintance products I should use for this bass. Could you please give me a hint what is the best to take care about this bass (oil, wax, etc.)?

          Hey Holger, you can use fingerboard oils to freshen up the fingerboard every so often.  For the body I would just recommend wiping it down after you've played.

              Hey Michael, the BB-605 bridge has a spacing of 17mm, hope this helps!

                  Hi Diego, We do not take custom or special orders for our LTD product line. If you wanted something like this from our ESP custom shop we could build it but the price range would be above or similar to the price point of our ESP Original Series.

                    Hey guys, is this (or the one with the ebony top) still in production? I got a bunch of vouchers from a Dutch shop with a filial in Belgium (bax-shop) for my b-day in the hopes of ordering this, but now the site says it cannot be ordered anymore. :(

                    The D-5 and B-5e look good too but nothing beats the looks of the F series. Besides that I'd like to try the 35" scale, and unfortunately the f-415FB is way out of my budget. Sad, sad days.

                      Hi Giu, The one with the ebony body top is no longer in production but this one is the same construction with a mahogany body. It still has the ebony fingerboard. So you might be able to find one of the old models, if not you can get one of these new ones.

I double checked in the shop and they say they don't know if they'll get it again... but it's a chain shop so the guys in the store probably don't have a clue what managers are doing... unfortunately. Anyway, went ahead and ordered the B-5e. I'll go for the F series in a few years again then
