I have the first ebony top version of this bass, and even though I have had many much more expensive basses, that is the one I love the most. I just returned an Ibanez SR2605 because I couldn't justify spending so much money on a new bass, when this one already fits me like a glove.
The longer 35" scale really adds the extra stability, and the neck is fast as lightning. The only thing is that you do have to stand and play it with a strap at all times, because the bottom horn protrusion will dig into your thigh when you sit and play.

Hi Metalhead4, The guitar or bass will be checked and setup for standard tuning. If you want a case you would have to add it to the order. We ship in a box that is packed inside a shipping carton.

Hi, yes this model is currently available but depending on who you plan to purchase from you will need to ask about their stock and availability. We are still stocking them and manufacturing this model. It fits fine in our F BASS form fit case.
