GB-4

SEAFOAM GREEN

$799.00

Introduced in 2018, the LTD GB-4 offers a set of professional performance tools in an all new, completely cool future-retro design. The GB-4 is completely unique among the LTD series of basses with its powerful and versatile electronics that combine a set of passive Seymour Duncan SSB-4 pickups with Duncan’s STC-3M3 active EQ. You’ll not only be able to sculpt your tone with stacked treble/bass controls and a dedicated midrange control; you also get a push-pull feature on the volume knob that engages the GB-4’s slap switch, a special EQ contour voiced specifically for slap bass. There are even trim pots on the circuit board that can be tweaked to preset the slap EQ contour right where you want it. The sound of this pickup set and preamp electronics is huge… beefy and round, with excellent articulation on the low end (especially great for for bass players who downtune). The GB-4 offers very sturdy 5-bolt construction, with a swamp ash body and maple neck that has killer block inlays on the fingerboard. Pro-quality components include a solid Gotoh bridge with brass saddles that allows for both standard and string-thru-body setups. Its neck profile is slim, allowing for fast, precise performances. For everything from metal to pop to funk and beyond, the LTD GB-4 is ready to handle your best work. Available in Black finish with Pau Ferro fingerboard, or Seafoam Green finish with maple fingerboard.

4 stringed thot

As radical as this is, I would have rather had they'd kept the Stream-204 in production

Todd B. ESP

Hey 4 stringed, thanks for your suggestion.

Alex M.

I'd  love to see a purple base coat with a white vintage crackle top coat, distressed looking hardware, maple fingerboard with aged looking pearl Inlays and pickguard for a Haunted Mansion ride kind of feel... it's probably a bit much for a production model bass but it would look pretty good

Todd B. ESP

Hey Alex, Wow! Yes now you're talking custom, but I can see it. This would be a bit much for a standard production model.....

Alex M.

Black Cherry Pearl !!! Maybe  oxblood Chrome Metallic or even a root beer metallic I know most people think of ESP as a metal guitar but to me this one is more L.A. punk/car culture

Todd B. ESP

Hey Alex, Those are some good choices, kind of like Kustom Kar paints, cherries and pearls.. We'll think about something like that. I think a red color would look great. Thanks for your suggestions.

Looks like a fun to play! Certainly could go well to my rig. Would it be wrong if I repaint it?

Alex M.

Not at all... I think the color selection is the only thing lacking on this one

Todd B. ESP

Hi Alex, Thanks for adding that comment. What colors would you like to see?

Todd B. ESP

Hi Zildjainzone, Glad you like this one. No problem if you want to repaint it! We just came out with this model so currently it's only available in 2 colors but it could be available in more colors in the future. What color would you repaint it ?

Jake H

I'd like to see a Pastel Pink or Fuchsia Pink but If I plan a project on it maybe a Suzuki Triton Blue and maybe a couple of custom graphics.

Todd B. ESP

Hi Zildjainzone, Thanks. Those colors sure would look nice.

Roberto D.

Hermoso!!!

Todd B. ESP

Hola ROberto, Gracias!
