Hi guys! Could you please help? I have now ESP LTD sir Headly, amazing guitar! Want something else, will this Hirizon suit to play Korn style music and tone? And is possible to tune down to A Standard, heard there may be some difficulties with tuning because of flours rose and I’m also planning to put Heavy core strings 0.10 - 0.65 will they fit? Or you can recommend some other guitars for my needs? I was also thinking of Stephen Carpenters Purple Satin and Green sparkles 7 string baritones… But I’m really confused.. hope you can help

So, does this guitar has a neck-thru construction or set-thru one? It seems that most of the other guitars have neck-thru, even the simple black one. Just curious whether it's a mistype

Come on guys and girls, you make such amazing guitars (I speak from experience), but that volume knob and pup selector position is not good. Why don't you move the knob further down (the LTD H series is a good example and even that could be moved a touch further) and bring the selector forward, somewhere between the two pickups, above the lower arch, which sits on the player's leg. Do that and you 're golden!

Why oh why isn't this color available in the 6 string model???

MARK S.

Not even available on this model, this picture looks nothing like the real thing.

Francois V.

Totally mesmerized with the color of this guitar ! If I had it at home I would spend moe time watching it than playing it lol. Do you have a wallpaper based on this beauty ?

Onde faço para adquirir uma no Brasil?

John S.

Can this model be bought without the reversed headstock?

Todd B. ESP

Hi, These are production models so they cannot be ordered with any different specifications.

Andres S.

That’s dumb. ESP should stop doing non-reversed pointy headstocks, they look less metal that way.

Nick K.

I’m guessing this is a veneer top?  Sigh.
Over two grand USD for a veneer!

Todd B. ESP

Hi Nick, Yes these use a figured veneer top. They would cost much more with a real carved top (compare to ESP USA or ESP Custom Shop).

Larry P.

Hi! Are there 7 string esp guitars that have Floyd and Coil tap?

This guitar I bought it along with the Evertune 7B!

The reason I bought because lots of bands are using this guitar, and cool features, also the color finish is like dragon!!!

Carl N.

cool!

Just got mine. The last one Guitar Center had in stock. Came with terrible factory set-up. Action set way too low causing buzz all along the fretboard. Then there is the set of strings that this guitar comes with. 7-string Elixir set 9-56 does not exist, nor can you get it from any other manufacturer, so you're stuck getting a 9-42 set and then gotta track down a single .056 which is not easy in time when even Elixir website is out of stock for those. Your option is buying it from an Amazon seller which will set you back almost as much as  full string set. C'mon guys, you can do better when charging well over $2K for a guitar. Does anyone still have any logic left at all? As is, before I can give it a full test I need to drop another $50-$75 for a pro set up, and another $20 for a complete (custom) set of strings. Please think this through in the future. You could have easily gone with 9-54 or 10-56 set and make it easier on us. Thanks.

Its common for instruments to need to be set up again after spending some time in stores, if you need any assistance with your instrument or have any questions you may reach out to our customer service team at customerservice@espguitars.com or https://www.espguitars.com/pages/support

Hey man. Expect any guitar to need a little bit of setup upon purchase as shipping, changes in temperature band climate will affect the wood and therefore the the setup. Guitars with a floating tremolo like a Floyd Rose are especially sensitive to changes in equilibrium.

As for string gauges, try stringsbymail dot com, you might be able to get the single string you need from them or custom sets. I definitely feel you on the shortages of strings.

Nick K.

Elixir has been out of stock for strings for over a year now on certain models.  Which makes no sense because their strings are actually made by D’Addario.  Anyway, time to switch brands.  D’Addario has a coated electric set now called the XT’s.

Also bro how long you been playing guitar? It would behoove you to learn how to set it up yourself if it’s something you’re going to be doing for the rest of your life and you’re passionate about it, just saying.  It’s not difficult.

Alex Z.

Hello, got this dream guitar as a nice addition to my twin Schecters Hellraiser Hybrid C-7 FR, which is basically almost the same guitar. But I prefer heavier gage strings, so I would like to replace them with Elixir Nanoweb 10, 13, 17, 26, 36, 46, 56 set. Will I need to add another spring or two in the back?

I did the same with my Schecters and it worked marvelously, but I did have to add a spring or two (can't remember). Would this guitar too be ok with that?

Also in your opinion, which 7th string gage would fit better with the rest of this string set, 56 or 59?

Carl N.

Depends how you tune and how hard you hit the lowest pitch string.  I would say go for 59, but that’s just my personally preference.

Glenn U.

What a beautiful instrument!  I totally agree with the other comments (4?) below that a six stringer would be a worthy addition to your line.  I for one have no desire to play 7...but a 6 like this?  Chalk up another future sale.  Stainless steel frets would also be a smart change as Nickel causes dermatitis for one out of five people...but i’m good with just the addition of a six!

Carl N.

thanks for the insight!

Inputflangeman

BEGGING you PLEASE, make this in a 6 string with the reversed headstock (I'd even settle for the headstock as is).  Your finest guitar would be commercially accessible to the vast majority of us that don't have enough digits for a 7 string, or enough digits ($$$,$$$) for a custom, or are too old to be taught new tricks.  Otherwise, I'm going to feel very bad about buying any other ESP guitar.  Just sayin'...

Carl N.

Thank you for the insight!

Brandon S.

Best looking guitar on the entire site, wish it was 6 string with non-reverse headstock, if it were, I'd buy 4, one for each alternate tuning. I just bought 2 Ibanez models like it, but I like the ESP neck profile and string spacing WAY better
