With correct string gauge, is it possible to tune the Viper-201B in A standard?

I need to find a replacement TOM bridge. The original has been damaged. One of the retaining washers on the screws for saddle intonation scale length got damaged and doesn't hold the saddle position. Looking at replacement TOMs it's apparent there are many variations on them. Can anyone tell me which TOM bridge would be a drop in replacement to abstain from trial and error returns.

thank you very much.

What type of strings should I use for this one? I normally use 0.10_0.56... What would you recommend guys?

Carl N.

If you're used to 10-56 I would just stay with those, everyone has their own preference for string gauges and brands, keep in mind anytime you do any string gauge changes or tuning changes you may need to setup your instrument again.

Thinking about replacing the current Ltd tuners on my Viper 201B, and upgrade to locking tuners. Do I need to redrill the holes?

Carl N.

not all replacement tuners will be direct drop in replacements, if you are unfamiliar with this kind of work it would be recommended to have a professional technician perform this modification for you

I used the hip shot open style 3x3 set, they come with universal mounting plates, no drilling, extremely easy install, make string changes very quick and easy

I put hip shots on mine, no drilling with the universal mounting plates

I plan on upgrading the pickups to dimarzio titans, do I need standard or F spaced?

Todd B. ESP

Hi Gary, Standard spaced will work. You don't need F spaced.
