      I just received my MH-400B and was surprised to find that it was tuned to E standard. The neck appeared to be bowed in a little bit. I tuned it down to B standard and the neck appears to be reacting well. I hope there was no negative impact of the guitar being in E standard from when it left the shop to me receiving it....

          This guitar is almost perfect and I'm thinking of getting it. However I'd love to replace the Grover tuners with locking tuners. What are the measurements of the stock tuners?

              Acquired one of these guitars recently, but I do not play detuned, play only in standard E tuning.  Can I use this guitar for standard E tuning with .010 gauge strings without negative impact to tension, stability and tuning?  Am especially curious about the impact of the deep belly curve on the back and how that would impact higher standard tension.  Thanks!

                Yes, when setup properly you can play in standard tuning.

                  This guitar has already got standard tuning with the addition of a LOW B string. It doesn't have your regular high E.It is strung from B to B.  The neck is longer as it is a BARITONE. Tighter feeling strings for lower tuning and stability.

                        Most, if not all of our instruments could be setup with these specifications if done properly
