Hi !! I am using this guitar and it is a great budget shred guitar. Now I want to ask can I replace the stock floyd rose with a special or any other high end floyd rose? Will they fit?
Thank you !!

Christopher R.

I remember buying one of these when they came with floyd rose special and esp designed pickups. They were about 400 bucks i believe. I ended up selling due to tremelo stripping out. Wish they has a hard tail back then.

what do you mean stripping out, is it just the paint, corrosion, or the metal cracking?

Can this guitar handle D standard?

Todd B. ESP

Hi, Yes it can. All our guitars can cover a range of tunings, all you need to consider is modifying the string gauge. I would suggest at least 10-46 or 11-52 gauge would probably be best for this tuning. And you will need to readjust your bridge springs, neck truss rod tension, etc.

Es de puente fijo o flotante?

I got my M200FM about 10 years ago (more or less) and it has a thru neck, black covers on the pickups and a coil tap to make the pickups single coil or humbuckers. Also has arrow shaped fret markers and a bar on the 12th fret that M-200FM on it. Also the back of the neck is also painted black.

thanks for sharing! I think that might have been an M-300 which we discontinued in 2014

Barry G.

Yes, looks the same except mine is black, but mine says m200fm

, did I get a better guitar than what I ordered???

Mario T.

Hi Barry, I have the very same model you described, and also got it 10 or 12 years ago. The bar at 12th fret displays the model M200 FM

Raoul K.

same with mine. serial number starts with IR06, so it must have been made in 2006.

Same as all you guys, I traded mine in just over a year ago, wish I had kept it. IR06 (I bought mine in 06) serial number as well, I had modified mine but it was neck thru M200Fm see through black, and back then they had arrowhead inlays and LH-300 pickups with cover bobbins (that i had swapped out anyway but were a lot like a passive set of EMGs). Beautiful guitars, and I paid, I think, around $700 Canadian monopoly monies for it with a case. It was also an agathis wood body with a rosewood fingerboard. I loved it, played the frets down to nothing.
