M-1007 MULTI-SCALE

SEE THRU BLACK SATIN

$1,299.00

The LTD M-1007MS and M-1008MS are multi-scale guitars with the uncompromising playability and sonic power for which ESP is known worldwide. Multi-scale guitars make use of an angled fret arrangement to offer different scale lengths for the various strings of the guitar, allowing for optimal string tension, and has also been stated by many players to offer an ergonomic improvement for the fretting hand. Offering 7-string and 8-string arrangements respectively, the MS-1007MS and MS-1008MS have varying scale lengths of 27” - 25.5”. They are bolt-on designs that use a “drop top” of thick flamed maple that’s bent over a lightweight mahogany back. Both models offer a five-piece neck made of maple and exotic purple heart wood, with a Macassar ebony fingerboard that includes offset abalone dot inlays. Top-tier components on the new M-1007MS and M-1008MS include a set of Seymour Duncan Nazgul and Sentient pickups that were custom-made for ESP with a special angled design and pole spacing optimized for the multi-scale design. A push-pull control on the tone knob allows for coil splitting, providing a wealth of flexible tones. Other components include a Hipshot multi-scale bridge and ESP locking tuners. Available in See Thru Black Satin finish.

Please make a 6-7 string Eclipse shape multiscale

Todd B. ESP

Hi Nick, Thanks for your suggestion.

Hi Todd (or anyone from ESP).

Just curious, are the frets Nickel or Stainless?

I'm assuming Nickel since it's not called out, but figured it wouldn't hurt to ask

Todd B. ESP

Hey Jason, Yes they are nickel silver which is the standard allow for frets unless you use stainless. So far we haven't used stainless for any of our LTD product line. If we ever do stainless we would put that in the spec description.

I Just received by BB600b signature baritone and am in love with it. Then i found this new guitar..... This looks to become a replacement for my Jackson Multi-scale 7 string, instead of me buying custom pickups for it. I love how its finish nearly matches my other two LTD's while still maintaining its own character.  I must have this.

Hi Christopher, Thanks for your comments. It's great to hear that you like this design. We worked hard to come out with something that was really put together well. The pickups are made by S. Duncan specifically for our model and they sound really good. Let us know if you ever get your hands on one. We'd love to know how you like it!

This is easily the best combination of features available on a production multi-scale 7 string from a major brand. The only thing that could improve it is an alternate color option with chrome hardware.

I want this so bad!!!!!!Hopefully the guitar store in my place could order this for me.

Hi PK,

We hope you get your hands on one of these and let us know what you think!
