Does this guitar have a maple cap or a veneer?
Hi Daniel, This top is a veneer, not a thick maple cap.
This guitar is incredible and sounds amazing! I just got mine in the mail on 1/18 and I'm excited to use this for many years to come! One minor thing I noticed that was wrong was the tool pack. The allen wrench sent for the hipshot bridge is still too big. According to hipshots website it needs to be a .50mm wrench

I am confused. I have an LTD Deluxe FR H-1001 but I can't find it on this site. Mine doesn't have Seymore Duncan pickups; it has EMGs. Where can I find the owner's manual for my guitar? The place I bought it from did not provide the manual. I've had this axe for a few years, and not having the manual is starting to bite me in the butt. Other than that, I think the guitar is fantastic!
Hi ShawnG77, Your guitar was probably an earlier version. The H-1000 series has been around for quite a few years but we've made changes over the years. We do not provide an owner's manual with our products but you can download our owner's manual, there is just one that we use for all models. Love the color and am ecstatic about it coming with my favorite pickups... But..... The pearl binding turns me off.

Abalone purfling.
Yes Adam you are correct. This model has Abalone purfling that is inset next to the binding.
Definitely beautiful guitar . Mahogany body with nice maple top. Also fixed bridge is a big plus. I have been using Floyd Rose since they showed up , and always had same problem ….keep Floyd Rose in tune was a real trick. I switched to guitars with fixed or regular bridge and noticed big change in tonality and what is most important guitar is always in tune.
