BW-1 EVERTUNE

SEE THRU BLACK

$1,827.00 $1,279.00

The BW-1 EverTune is one of the most unique and innovative high performance guitars in the LTD Signature Series. Created by Ben Weinman, a founding member of mathcore geniuses The Dillinger Escape Plan and a highly respected player whose combination of speed and feel has landed him on many "best of" guitarist lists, the BW-1's most notable feature is its EverTune constant tension bridge. It keeps the BW-1 in near perfect tune and intonation under almost any condition. The BW-1 EverTune is a neck-through-body design at 25.5" scale, with a chambered mahogany body and flamed maple top, and binding on the body, neck, and headstock. It offers a fast three-piece thin U-shaped maple neck with an ebony fingerboard that includes 24 extra-jumbo frets. The sound of this guitar is powered by a set of Fishman Fluence Modern Humbucker active pickups with nickel covers. These pickups allow for a remarkable degree of sonic flexibility. Two separate voicings are selectable via the push-pull on the tone control (down for “Modern Active” tone, or up for “Modern Passive Attack”). This model utilizes a standard 9V battery and comes in See Thru Black finish.

Is there enough space between the bridge and the bridge pickup to mount a Fishman TripplePlay midi pickup?

    • Todd B. ESP

Hi SolidSnarf, We have not used the TriplePlay system and so we can't confirm if there is enough space. If you can find out the dimensions from Fishman and email our customer service department, they could help you determine if it will fit.

Is there any chance that you would ever make this same guitar, but without the f hole... and maybe even a tung oiled neck (or some sort of unglossy neck)?  I would buy one in a heartbeat.

Hi Garrick, Thanks for the suggestions. This is a signature model that we build to the specs that the artist uses. We have made a solid body version in the past which is similar to what you describe with the exception of the back of neck which was painted. It was called the PD-1.
