This is a serrrrrriosly good guitar! I bought it because I got a good deal on a 2nd hand one....but...I did not expect for it to become my favorite guitar immediately. I've own/ed plenty of guitars (Schecter, PRS, Jackson, etc). It's been a year since I got it and it gets the most love out of all my other guitars. The neck is unreal, Fishmans sound huge, and Evertune works great...also I love purple guitars.  If ESP makes some variations of the model in the future, I'm buying another one

Hi Filip, Glad to hear how much you like your guitar!

Brooks R.

I’ve had this guitar for a about a year now, I’ve got it setup in Drop G with a 11-54 w/ a .68 for the 7th string. And I must say that this guitar sounds amazing. The evertune is awesome, the satin finish on the back of the neck is now my favorite type to have. It’s a great guitar.

Hey Brooks, We're very happy to hear how much you like your SH-7 guitar! Thanks for leaving your feedback here and thanks for choosing ESP!

Peter W.

It's amazing how nice and classy this guitar looks compared to that last horrible Ibanez signature he had.

Will this model ever be made available left handed?

Todd B. ESP

Hi Peter, Thanks for your nice comments. This model is not currently available in LH, but we appreciate your suggestion and may offer this in LH at a later time.

Well Tod b at esp after your advice I bought a new set of nyxl 9 for my sh7 et which to my frustration after an hour and a half of set up it turns out mine came with tens thanks for not knowing what guitars actually come with and wasting my time and money

Todd B. ESP

Hi Colin, sorry to hear that. We don't use NYXL on our production guitars (except for ESP USA). It's possible that the tension on the NYXL 9 set is different from a regular 9 set. My best advice is to use whichever gauge you prefer playing with and setup your instrument for those gauges. I hope that you ended up getting a set to work out finally? Hi Sean, Sorry for the late reply to your request. We will be updating string gauges for every model soon. The strings that came with your guitar are this set: D'Addario XL120-7 (.009/.011/.016/.024/.032/.042/.054)
