M-400

BLACK SATIN

$799.00

The LTD 400 Series is designed with the professional performing and recording musician in mind, but is available at a price that even casual players can afford. With the M-400, you get a sturdily well-built bolt-on shredding machine, complete with the classic M-style extra thin flat neck profile. Available in this great-looking Black Satin finish, as well as a mahogany-topped passive-pickup version with the M-400M, its mahogany body and fast three-piece maple neck are constructed at 25.5" scale, with a 24 extra-jumbo frets on its pau ferro fingerboard. Like the rest of the M Series, simplicity is the key to the M-400, with a single volume knob and a selector to choose between its world-standard active EMG 85/EMG 81 pickup set. The M-400M also includes Grover tuners and a Floyd Rose bridge.

I've bought this guitar last june and I have to say this is an amazing instrument for the price you pay! I love compact and lightweight guitars and this is probably the most manageable guitar I've ever touched. I play melodic death metal and the EMGs are perfect for recording purposes. Even with just one track recorded, the sound is already fat, clear and punchy! The satin finish is beautiful but it would be great to have it also in glossy finish, probably I would buy another one!

Hey Luca, Glad you like your guitar! thanks for all your comments.

José P.

Is it a new model of M-400 blk?

Todd B. ESP

Hello Jose,

The new or current model is Black Satin.

Jason T.

Other than a change in pickups for preference for some people, this is about the absolute most perfect metal guitar I have ever seen.  This and one with an SH16/SH1n would be all I would ever need.  Maybe add a Liberator setup to swap out pickups as desired, otherwise, perfection.

Hi Jason, Thanks for the comments. Glad to hear this is almost perfect!
