Why do some guitars have the model number (EC-1000P in this case) on the fret board and others on the tuner head?
This was a specification change to remove the model designations from the 12th fret, older models will have them, newer ones will not. hope this helps
currently where they build this guitar?
Currently produced in Korea and Indonesia, hope this helps!
I was wondering what the overall weight of the guitar is. Thank you....
These are about 8.5lbs, though no two instruments will be the same so some can be heavier and some lighter
Hi, I see it shows this guitar color in blue and black. I'm left handed and I can't find a blue guitar left handed. Do us lefties only get black and not blue?
For the piezo model this will only be available in black for left handed orientation.
This says the electronics are active but I was under the impression that theSD 59 and JB were both passive. I am mistaken or does the active part exclusively refer to the Piezo pup? Or is it possible that the magnetic pups are passive but feature an active on board preamp? All comments will help. Thanks!
Hi Kyle, you are right. The active portion refers to the Piezo preamp, but the pickups do not use a battery. The pickups can function separately and do not run through the preamp. The preamp is only for the piezo system.
