Hi just want to say that I bought this guitar, and it is my absolute favourite in my collection. It holds tune better than my PRS USA Custom 24 which has locking tuners.

Sounds amazing and worth every dollar. Craftsmanship is top notch too. If you're considering purchasing this, do it. Take my word for it!

Hello! I scrached a bit stopbar when pulled out (there is a magnits in bar holders?), and i want to replace it with a new one. What is model of this stopbar? Who produse this original part?

I just bought this guitar and want to replace the grover tuners with locking tuners. Does anyone know what may be an exact replacement or what exact model these grovers are? thanks.

Todd B. ESP

Hi, the original tuners are GH-102. Please email our customer service with any other requests. email: customerservice@espguitars.com

How much modifications doni have to do, to be able to blend the piezo/mag like on the ec1000?

Carl N.

Alexey K.

Could this guitar is tuned in standart tuning EBGDAE

Carl N.

yes, it could

Alexey K.

What strings gauge should I choose?

Tsuin I.

Just got this in today and was wondering what string gauge is on it . Is it the .13-.62 set like in the description or something else?

Carl N.

Hey Tsuin, yes the description will note the correct string gauge.

Alexander H.

Noticed that the guitar uses regular grover tuners. Will Grover Roto-Grip locking tuners (502 series) fit appropriately? Per their specs sheet, the dimensions differ.

Carl N.

Hey Alexander, if their dimensions differ then it would be safe to assume they would require modifying your instrument in order to install them in place of the current tuners.  Hope this helps!

Daniel H.

Can you play this with a Mag/Piezo blend or is it just Mag or Piezo?

Carl N.

Hey Daniel, the blend functions while these are plugged into separate amplifiers or if you have a stereo amp setup.

Austin C.

Does Ben Burnley actually play this guitar or does he have a USA or Japanese version of this?

Carl N.

Hey Austin, check out the header of the Ben Burnley page.  That him! Playing his LTD!

Afternoon,

It seems that companies are pinching pennies. I received my BB-600B today. When I opened the case there was nothing as far as instructions on how to hook up the outputs or how the piezo works. It's sad that you have to go to your site to find this information. Still, you have only a diagram that cannot be downloaded. Sorry, but to me that's just plain lazy. Other companies such as Gibson, Epiphone, etc provide a brochure or at least a well documented diagram that can be downloaded. In the future consider providing something in the case.

Regards,

Andrew Williams

Todd B. ESP

HI Andrew, Thanks for posting your feedback here. I  understand your frustration and I'm sorry that you were not provided with instructions. Thank you for pointing this out so we can consider a better solution in the future. Should you need any assistance in the meantime please feel free to reach out to our customer service team at customerservice@espguitars.com

Alexander H.

Hello,

Just wondering if you someone can explain the 'active EQ' for the passive humbuckers in the guitar and if the battery is needed?

Todd B. ESP

Hi Alexander, Thanks for pointing this out. There is in fact no active eq, that is a typo. The active portion of this guitar is for the Piezo output. It does in fact use a 9V battery and there is some active circuitry for the volume control (it would be considered an "active volume control"). We will update the site. Thanks again for bringing up this issue.

Jeff H.

Greetings,

The majority of breaking Benjamin songs are played with Drop A# tuning, yet this signature guitar comes in B to B tuning.  So to play Breaking Benjamin songs you would have to actually tune up 5 out of the 6 strings by one half step to achieve Drop A# tuning.  (A# F A# D# G C) up from B E A D F# B.  Only the 6th string would be tuned down one half step but all other strings would have to be raised one half step.   My question - can this guitar handle that extra tension out of the box or would I have to make a bunch of adjustments (truss rod, etc.) to achieve Drop A# tuning without damaging the guitar or the stock .13 strings?  Or is the guitar good to go without any adjustments to achieve Drop A# tuning?

Todd B. ESP

Hi Jeff, Yes this guitar can handle this tuning, however the guitar will need to have the truss rod and bridge adjusted for intonation. It would probably be a good idea to put a slightly lighter string gauge on the guitar for this tuning (maybe a 12 gauge or 11 gauge set), but it certainly will work with the stock strings if wanted.

Trevor T.

What string gauge does this guitar cone with?

Todd B. ESP

Hi Trevor, This model comes with D'Addario XL158 (.013/.017/.026/.036/.046/.062), and is tuned in a Baritone tuning (B-E-A-D-F#-B).

Jordan P.

So if I wanted to swap these pickups for fishman fluence moderns with two push pulls, what kind of work am I looking at doing?

Todd B. ESP

Hi Jordan. Basically you will need to replace the pots for the electric pickups and you may need to adjust the preamp buffer on the piezo to match the output between piezo and electric pickups, however, since each has a discreet output this may not be necessary. This all is not too difficult, but we recommend taking your guitar to an experienced guitar tech or repair person who can do this for you.

Sascha T.

LUV it...

Christopher A.

Fairly new to guitar and madly in love with the design of this guitar. Is it only for drop tune(not recommended for standard tune)? Also,  I'm assuming if I wanted to switch from Piezo to Mag Pups I'd have to swap the cord to the alternate output jack...? Desperately wanting to add this to my growing collection, but those two concerns are slowing me down...

Clatta32

Thank you for answering my questions, this will be my most expensive guitar if I get it. I have two more, though

Will you still be selling these in July?

And is Ben's signature on the back of the headstock?
