BK-600

MILITARY GREEN SUNBURST SATIN

$1,149.00 with case

The BK-600 is the LTD Signature Series guitar for Bill Kelliher, guitarist for influential American metal band Mastodon. Designed by Bill to provide the wide range of tones needed for Mastodon’s music while being sturdy and reliable enough for his most punishing rhythms and brutal riffs throughout long tours, the BK-600 is based on the single-cutaway ESP Eclipse guitar style, along with a traditional full body thickness and no waist cut. Its three-piece mahogany neck is joined to the body with set-thru construction at 24.75” scale for smooth and comfortable fast access to the upper frets. The BK-600 offers an ebony fingerboard with pearloid “ESP Flag” inlays and 22 frets, as well as binding on the body, neck, and headstock. Its sound is generated with two of Kelliher’s own signature Lace Sensor “Dissonant Aggressor“ LTD pickups with matte black covers, which were specially designed for our LTD Bill Kelliher Signature Series models and are not available anywhere else. This sonically versatile humbucker set with excellent dynamic response, sustain and tone is controlled with master volume and tone knobs that each offer a push-pull control to split the bridge and neck pickups respectively. Other professional features on the LTD BK-600 include locking tuners and a TonePros locking bridge. It’s available in a distinctively cool Military Green Sunburst Satin finish.

Will this ever he offered in left handed?

Thanks!

Hi yannick, sorry this model is not currently availble in LH. Not sure what the future holds but it's always a possibility.

Frederick B.

I can't find one of these near me to play to hear it.  How much of a tone difference between the Passive Lace Dissonant Aggressors in this guitar, and the Fishman Fluence Modern in Passive mode in my EC-1000S?  By playing along with Bill's Butterslax video where he's really playing the BK-600, it's kind of hard to tell.  Just want to make sure there's a good difference before I add it to my ESP collection, which is growing quickly. LOL \m/

Todd B. ESP

Hi Frederick,

The Fishman Fluence Modern is brighter with more clarity and more articulate sounding in its passive mode, while the Dissonant Aggressor is darker and warmer while still retaining a good amount of bite.  The Fishman is also a little hotter output-wise. Hope this helps.

Thanks!   It's a fantastic guitar..thanks for making such a great product!

Todd B. ESP

Hey Steve, Thanks for that! Glad you like it!

Scuono

Hello,

I purchased a Bk600 about a year ago, it did not come with a case.  I see it does now.  Does this guitar fit in the normal EC case or EC coffin case?  I wasn't sure with the full thickness body if it would.  If not, can I get a case that fits?

Thanks!

Steve Cuono

Todd B. ESP

Hi Scuono, Yes it will fit just fine in our regular EC Form Fit case. It also fits fine in our Tombstone EC form fit case.

George T.

Hi! Here's my nerdy question. Is this guitar made of african or honduran mahogony?

Todd B. ESP

Hi George, sorry for my late reply to your question. We do use African mahogany mostly for our higher end brands such as ESP and E-II, and we use Honduran mahogany only for a few of our ESP models. For this BK-600 model we use lightweight Southeast Asian mahogany. Hope that helps.
