Does ESP offer this guitar with passive pickups option?

Carl N.

Our models will be offered as shown, no alternative pickup options at the moment

Hello.

I'd like to order another bridge pickup. I know It's the brushed chrome EMG 81. Is there anything else more specific about it for this guitar?

Thanks for any help,

Todd

I know it is a Humbucker as well. It says something about shaft length on the website?

Todd C.

Do I want the long Les Paul 19mm?

Carl N.

Shaft length would refer to the potentiometer not the pickup, these would use short shaft pots.

Hi,

I have this guitar and let me tell you how cool it is. Its so cool Antarctica is jealous.

It doesn't have the fancy paint but boy does it play metal. My particular guitar is very "clear" i think from the ebony maple combo.

I want another one and good job gentleman on the work. I haven't touched it barely since arrival a year ago other then change strings and adjust the neck. That's it.

Glad you are enjoying it

Wow woah woah woah, you don’t play it every day? SMH man I get it I know what it cost. It’s a fortune to me for sure but I stil pick it up and play it every day or I’d feel guilty of neglect and abuse even. I do have a couple bang around practice guitars that I thrash on but still, must pick up my BB at least once a day. Even if it’s just to wipe it down or put some string ease on it. Probably the nicest thing I’ve ever owned. Seriously- I still put a chrome fiend sticker on the base right under the bridge in the upright position- looks like it was made that way! But hey it’s your dream so you have it however you want it, I can’t see it from my band room anyway- but if I could I’d say “nice! You’ve got excellent taste” -DRED

Are you guys planning an LTD EC-1000 version of this one?

Todd B. ESP

Hi Robbie, We are not planning at this time but thanks for your suggestion. We do appreciate your feedback!

Stephane L.

Thank you again for your response. We have a E-II ECLIPSE BB Purple Sparkle and the fret board/neck is black on it, I see it as black anyway. Is this also dark brown or is it actually black?

if I can get the E-II Eclipse Black Satin with the same color of fret board/neck as the fret board/neck on my Purple Sparkle I’m buying it?

So are they the same or different, please advise.

Carl N.

Stephane, the spec for both is ebony, though no two pieces are ever going to look the same they will typically be the darkest wood available for fingerboards without dying them.  I cannot say whichever instrument you buy will have the darkest fingerboard, it would be best for you to visit a dealer to see them in person before purchase if you are that particular about the color of your fingerboard.
