Ken Susi is one of the two-guitar attack that comprises Massachusetts-based metal core heroes Unearth (the other being fellow ESP player Buz McGrath). Ken’s precise approach to soaring leads and ultra-tight rhythms is reflected perfectly with his LTD Signature Series KS M-7 EverTune model. Offering a neck-thru-body design at 25.5” scale for excellent stability and sustain, the 7-string KS M-7ET is also highlighted by two innovative components: an EverTune constant tension bridge, and Fishman Fluence® Modern Humbucker active pickups. These pickups allow for a remarkable degree of sonic flexibility right from the guitar’s controls: the volume knob features a push-pull control for -5dB of gain reduction when pulled up, while the push-pull on the tone control selects the pickup voicing (down for “Modern Active” tone, or up for “Modern Passive Attack”). This model utilizes a standard 9V battery. Available in Metallic Silver finish.

So. Im kind of confused. It says the neck is thin u, comparing it to my mh1007qm which is also thin U (specs sheet) the neck on the mh is way thinner more like an extra thin U.

Carl N.

All thin U necks should be comparable, if you feel there is an issue with your instrument you can reach out to our service team at customerservice@espguitars.com

I own the brown one, its an awesome guitar. Does anyone have advice on string height? Considering each can be set individually. Im going for 1.3mm on high E and 1.8 on the low b. What about the other ones in between? There are no suggestions on that. I just set the plain steel ones to 1.3 and the wound ones to 1.8.

Carl N.

Our owner's manual provides basic setup specifications though personal preference may deviate from this guideline.

I know him. He's a really nice guy. He came to one of my band's shows once

Carl N.

Indeed James, Ken is a really nice guy and great player!  Thanks for sharing!

Man this is such a great guitar! The killer tone from its construction plus those Fishman pickups with voicing switches, the way it looks and the fact that it's a 7 string all appeal to me greatly. I wish I could get one of these machines one of these days...

Hi Rolan, Thanks for your comments. Glad to hear you like this design and we also hope that you can try one out some day!

Nathan M.

I picked up one of these at my local shop the other week (my first and only 7 string) It's absolutely amazing and the evertune is an absolute game changer! It's rare I buy a guitar and change nothing about it, but this one is perfect just the way it is. Great work Ken Susi and ESP.

Todd B. ESP

Hey Nathan, Wow, that's great to hear! Thank you so much for sharing your experience here and for this instrument a chance!
