I got one used and love it, can you tell me the material of the frets? Also does esp offer pickup swaps? I'd prefer the Pegasus and sentient set over the jazz and custom 5.

After years of being in the running, and going with Jackson and schecter, this may be the one.  Currently down to an American Jag, a couple modern Gibson's, Ibanez prestige 6 and 7s, and a head 6, along with this.  The horizon seems to be the one slowly growing on me.  Absolutely stunning guitar, and I use mostly Duncan's, but this is my first experience with the custom 5 and the jazz, and man does this sound versatile.

I noticed that the push pull is on the tone knob. Right handed guitar.

Also, the volume knob is just a little loose. I have 4 other ESP guitars and the knobs in those are absolutely tight.

I tried another horizon-iii guitar and even that was “slightly” wobbly. Is that normal?

I've seen these come to Sweetwater with gloss and satin necks. Are they coming in both now or are you moving to satin necks on these Horizon III's?

Hello, we've switched to satin necks for all the E-II models. You will see the site updated as soon as we are able to.
