E-II HORIZON NT

DARK BROWN SUNBURST

$1,799.00 with case

Created at the ESP facility in Tokyo, Japan, the ESP E-II Series is our highest-quality factory-produced instrument collection. The ESP E-II Horizon NT is a guitar designed for high-level performing, for serious players who can't accept compromises in their instrument's ability to showcase their talent. It offers set-thru construction for fast and smooth access to the highest frets, pairing a mahogany body with maple top to a three-piece maple neck with ebony fingerboard and 24 extra-jumbo frets. You'll appreciate the feel of fine, detailed workmanship each time you pick up the E-II Horizon NT (the "NT" stands for "non-tremolo), which includes high-end components like a Gotoh TOM bridge and tailpiece, a bone nut, Schaller straplocks, Gotoh locking tuners, and more. This guitar offers some of the best-sounding and responsive passive pickups available, with the Seymour Duncan Jazz (neck) and a Seymour Duncan '59/ Custom hybrid (bridge) pickup that has to be heard to be believed... you'll have a level of responsiveness and tone variety rarely achieved in instrument design. The E-II Horizon NT is available in Dark Brown Sunburst with flamed maple top, or solid Snow White finishes, and includes a hard case.

Can I purchase a custom version of this guitar? Different color? Different pickups? With the case? I sent an email in to support with some questions and a picture of my ESP from the late 90's. This looks very similar to mine, almost identical.

Hi John, Our custom shop can build practically anything you dream up, so the answer is yes we can build that. However please understand that ESP Custom Shop has a much higher price structure than our E-II factory models. If you are truly interested please contact any authorized ESP Dealer who can help you arrange an order through ESP.

Where is the Snow White version? Has it been discontinued? It was so beautiful I wish I could have afforded one sooner.

Todd B. ESP

Hi Andrew, yes it was discontinued this year, but you may be able to find dealers that still have it in stock.

They Seem like really nice guitars with good materials...That being said I strongly encourage you to play one in person if you can find one. Mine came with unacceptable fret work buzzing and rattling like crazy even after a standard setup with medium / higher than usual action. Had the displeasure of needing to send mine in to ESP and wait well over 2 weeks to have the frets done properly on a brand new made in “Japan” instrument, bummer :/

Todd B. ESP

Hey Mark, Sorry to hear that. Yes it's always best to try out a guitar whenever possible before purchasing it. Not every guitar will feel right to every player. That being said, I hope that you are finally happy with your instrument.

I love the Horizon. ESP is my favorite guitar manufacturer and I hold them in high regard and to a high standard. Yes, I am happy that the frets were leveled properly and that The guitar was taken care of  I appreciate you takin the time to respond and talk to consumers, thanks Todd.
