D'addario's, they last longer

Tim H.

Gotta go with super slinkys

Eric J.

NYXL strings have tighter wrap so they are snappier than Ernie ball

Stonecat

My choice.

Ian Rusconi

Boomers have the best bendfeel to me.

Rob Marshall

I change strings to often to worry about them going dead.

satan

i might switch from ernie ball to dunlop

Aaron M.

I just did the opposite. The dunlops sound dead really quick!

Travis L.

sound cleanest and feel the best

Beres G.

Dadarrio has the hardest sound

Ken H.

Just started using Elixir Polyweb 9's and 10's. We'll see how it goes...

CSOMEX

Ernie Ball

Alexander S.

Just like the feel of dunlop strings

Andrea R.

Ernie Ball's tone tinkles well. D'addario is great for acoustic guitars. But my absolute favourit string is Elixir.

Joost

No DR strings?  They don't last as long with my acidic fingers but I love the sound!

Aaron M.

Same here they sounded gfreat but lasted 6 days!!

Döme N.

I tried Cleartone. They sound great but they didnt even last for 2 months. Also tried Elixir which lasted for 5 months, but the sound wasnt the best. I use earnie ball since then and i'm enjoying them so far....

Aaron M.

Cleartone for me just felt very plastic like. Elixirs I found to be super bright

Bartosz S.

actually it is cleartone

ALL ESP/LTD BASSES AND GUITARS COME WITH SIT STRINGS

THEY ARE AWESOME STRINGS,BUT WHEN YOU CANT FIND THEM

GO BACK TO OLD FAITHFUL EARNIE BALL

Rod Ruvalcaba

TRUE !! I ALWAYS KEEP A COBALT SET IN MY CASES, LOL JUST IN CASE. BUT HERE'S A TIP. IF YOU DON'T HAVE HUGE GIGS OUT THERE, YOU CAN GET CHEAP STRINGS SETS AND AS THEY KEEP NICE CLEAR TWANGY TONE IN THEY'RE FIRST WEEK, CHANGE THEM EVERY WEEK. I USE MARKLES AND BLACK D'S WHEN I PLAY IN BARS. AND CHANGE THEM THE NEXT DAY. IF I GO TO STUDIO RECORDING, OR A BIGGER GIG, INMEDIATELY I SET MY S.I.T. STRINGS. AND HERE IN MEXICO IT'S A LITTLE MORE EXPENSIVE TO GET ANY BRAND, BECAUSE OF IMPORT TAXES, BUT MONEY SACRIFICE IS WORTH IT AGAINST SLOPPY SOUND OR WHIPLASH STRING BREAK DURING A SONG. I HATE THAT. NEVER HAPPEND WITH S.I.T. TO ME AS IT ACTUALLY HAPPEND WITH DUNLOPS OR D'ADDARIOS. PLUS MY PH IS NOT AS ABRASIVE, HA HA HA.

Rod Ruvalcaba

I VOTED ERNIE BALL BECAUSE IT WAS CLOSER TO THE MOUSE POINTER.

BUT I ACTUALLY USE SIT (STAY IN TUNE) STRINGS. I'VE TRIED ALL OPTIONS MENTIONED PLUS OTHERS LIKE DEAN MARKLEY, FENDER, GIBSON, BLACK DIAMOND, CLEARTONE, GALLI, LA BELLA... ETCETERA.

FOUND NO OTHER LIKE SIT.

Aaron M.

Thanks dude!

Solid Baritone

love their picks, pedals, and straps most of my heros use Dunlop EQ

tx-ogre

I have tried all of them except Dunlops.  I've also tried DR, Dean Markley, Elixir and Gibson.  I didn't like the feel of any of them.  I played GHS Boomers for about a year, but then started having problems with them breaking all the time (oddly enough, it was usually the A string).  Then I tried some D'Addario EXL 110s about 10 years ago and have never looked back.  When I bought my 7 string, I went with the EXL 110-7s and have always used EXL 165s on my basses.

Aaron M.

I just recently had a defect string from Dunlop and im now trying different brands on my green EC. Currently Im enjoying the Ernie Balls and have tried D'Addarios for years Ive just bought pack Ill pop them on after the Ernie Balls
