They should all have set through designes that way its basicly a set neck with better upper fret acces!

On the Full thickness models, no.

A sleeker heel joint on the EC models would be awesome. I know some of the EC models have a more tradational 70's style Les Paul style heel joint/thick neck. For example the EC-1000 isn't exactly 70's style LP heel joint/thick neck and body but a sleeker give it better access to the upper frets. Haven't played a Koa EC but I've played the Jeff Hannemaan EC and thought that the heel joint on it wasn't as comfortable as some other EC models.

Im suprised you didnt like the heel on that but they also are a thicker body

I like the heel on the EC 1000s, I think the heel on the EC 1000s are more comfortable than those on tradational single cut guitars like Les Pauls.  The Jeff Hannemaan EC I liked the thicker body but the neck and heel joint just wasn't that comfortable for me. I'm assuming the Jeff Hannemaan EC was based of the black Les Paul he used in the early days with Slayer, the one with the chains and the Kahler trem installed which that Les Paul I think is a late 70's Les Paul which had the thicker necks and heel joints.  I allready think ESP/LTD are leaps and bounds in the way they shape the necks and heel joints not to mention the cut away on the EC guitars.  Far more playable than tradational style single cut guitars, but if they can make a sleeker heel joint to give better access to the upper frets and still keep the nice thick body of a tradational single cut guitar than I'm all for it. Matter of fact that's my dream, to have a single cut guitar with a thick body like a 70's style Les Paul but with a sleeker heel joint to reach the upper frets and slimmer neck.  I really like the neck size of the EC 1000 guitars, nice and sleek, comfortable in my hands but doesn't feel weak at the same time.

I allready think the heel joint on the EC range of guitars is way more comfortable and better than those of other single cut guitars.  I use to play Les Pauls until I played a ESP/LTD EC model guitar and one of the main reasons I switeced from Les Pauls to the EC models is the heel joint on the EC models is better and more comfortable, but if their is a way for the luthiers at ESP/LTD to make it better and more sleeker then it will only make these awesome guitars even better!

If ya look at the heel joint on perhaps the Jeff hannenman EC or the Koa EC you'll see what im getting at

I love all the angles in EC's and Vipers, but a little sleeker wouldn't hurt anyone. ESP/LTD luthiers, go try it please !!
