In 1987, ESP introduced their first line of neck thru body and locking tremolo designs, many of which remain in the line today. In 2020, we’re celebrating that milestone with the LTD ’87 Series… faithful reissues of those models that first captured the imaginations of musicians around the world who needed a higher-performing alternative to the older guitars available at the time. One lucky person is going to win the prototype of the LTD Eclipse ’87 in Black finish. Unlike the current single-cutaway Eclipse shape, the original ESP Eclipse was based on the TE archtop shape. This guitar offers neck-thru-body construction with a mahogany body and three-piece maple neck, and a set of Seymour Duncan ’59 (neck) and JB (bridge) pickups with original style bobbins and a push-pull control to split the coils, and a Floyd Rose-1000 locking tremolo. One lucky member of the ESP All Access community is going to win the actual production prototype that we used as the standard for this guitar. This ESP Sweepstakes is open worldwide; no purchase necessary. Enter by April 30, 2020 for a chance to win, and good luck from ESP!
