I have played strats all of my life, don´t know why really it´s just whats their. And just recently I came across an early 80s esp 400 series. So I traded my old set of drums for the guitar, at first I was skeptical, the logo was kinda shady but is and old guitar, has a serial number and email esp and they reply with in a day and they sad that based on the photos I send the guitar was made some time in the early 80s in japan, regarles of there answer I had made the trade and got esp case to go with it, just the neck on this thing is incredible, pickups are not bad at all there the originals, and it´s slowly becoming my #1. The term is in great shape stays in tune like pro, and I cant say enough good stuff about the neck on this one. If you have info on serial numbers please comment. - updated
