What was your 1st guitar?
My very first guitar, that I still have today, was a craftsman travel size acoustic guitar that my dad bought me when I was 7 or 8. I remember being in awe when my dad played guitar so much and was always picking it up, even though I wasn't supposed to touch his guitars, and trying to figure out what was going on with this magical item that made all these colorful emotions and stories through sound painted over silence. He eventually got my step brother and I each the travel size guitars and ever since I've just been fascinated.
Which genre does GNR play? Does anybody know?
I think I would consider GNR as 70's/80's rock n roll/ metal, almost like a fusion but heavier on the hard blues rock side of the spectrum. The only reason I consider it metal in a way is because the licks Slash does some crazy licks that are a bit more than your normal rock licks (aka Rolling Stones, the Beatles, ect...)
