    Hi!
    How do I set the action on my 8-string? The G string is too close to the frets, but there are no individual adjustments for the strings. There is a screw on both ends of the bridge, will either end rise screwing the screw on that side?

    Yes you are correct. You will need to turn the screw post on one side or the other down or clockwise to lower the overall string action. If your other strings are fine and only your G string needs to be lowered then we recommend filing down the saddle groove on that saddle only. You should take your bass to an experienced guitar tech to do this if you do not have the correct tools or skill to do this.
