I've read the last "3" is for the factory, here is ESP Standard factory. What does that mean compared to the Tokio Factory for exemple ?

That's why I ask. I like this guitar but it has big finition problems.

I'm trying to figure out how to decode indonesian and chinese serial numbers..

For example: A EC-401BK I bought recently has this serialnumber IS0824371, another EC-401 FM BK is labeled IS100508565 (My guess is '08 and 10)
But I also got three EC-500 with the typical World Music serialnumber that's really easy to decode - they were made in 07 and 08. When did they start the EC401 production in Indonsia? Did they still produce EC-500 and EC-401 at the same time at different locations? I can remember some early EC401 models still made in Korea.

Another one: H-250 STG made in Indonesia IR0511396 (this appears a '05 model since it still has a cockstock)

The chinese ones are both EC256 (aged): L10062051 and I12061980 ('10 and '12)?

Would you mind double checking the black EC-401? There seems to be too many numbers in the serial number. I don't remember for sure when they changed production of the 400 line from Korea to Indonesia, but I think it would be later than 2010.

The guitar is legit. It's a 2008 Eclipse II model. It's an Eclipse II instead of a I because of the figured maple top. It's not a CTM style because it doesn't have the 5 ply binding or an ebony board.
