My ESP has been stolen!

  • Hey guys! I have a green KH2 and an ivory Jackson RRMIJ black pin stripes stolen from me in Parma , Ohio. The thieves are demanding a ransom and have threatened selling them to a Pawn shop. They timed this knowing I would be out of the state and local law enforcement isn't helping because I'm in Colorado. I have serial numbers, pics with me and the guitars, text messages from the thief admitting in plain English her intent. Yes, an overweight and undesirable female jacked me! Short of her SSN I've got everything on her. Does anyone know how I get the cops to just go arrest her? I just want my shit back. I don't care if she goes to jail. Ok, that's a lie, I do care, I want the hammer of justice, crushing her!!! Should I even post the serial numbers? Is there some magic word I don' know? I'm looking valuable time because I'm so pissed off I can barely function. My hands are shaking so bad it took 15minutes just to type this! Thanks you guys any help or advice is greatly appreciated!!
  • Sorry if I screwed this post all up.

That's terrible to hear. I live on the near east side, so if I can do anything to help, let me know.

The good news is that a pawn shop will take all of her info, including a drivers license, if she tries to sell it there. Keep trying to talk to the local police and get a police report filed.

Road King

Go home and file a police report. Sounds like your gf is pissed off. You should go MGTOW.

Not my girlfriend. Damn near a total stranger. Cops won't let me file a report. The random quadrupled today. They sold the guitars. The cops call and they admit to bluffing. I'm told I can go get them and I said no way. Why? Because how is she not in handcuffs right now. How is that a good idea? We'll go with you. A friend meets the cops there. They sent three cars all of the officers very peeved to be there. Also have no idea why. They knock

No answer. Next knock. Homeboy comes out. Shakes his head. Cops come back and tell my friend. Yah he' isn' going to give them back tell your friend that they're going to sue him and that he can probably ask a civil. Court to have them returned but don't call us again about it.

I'm nervous as to what I'm involved with now. Who do I call? A cop calls a dude and tells him he should return some stolen property then cops show up to get it and he' got the balls to suddenly change his mind?! Who does that?! Meanwhile I get about 20 new messages about how I called the cops. What kind of man calls the cops to get his stuff!  Maybe I'm just tripping but this kinda freaks me out. Thanks for the replies and the advice! Its probably stupid I even posted this but if any group would understand...

Wow, hope you get your guitars back man!

Guiguitarz

That's a crazy story man ...

If I was you, I'll knock to this dumbass' door and make them regret to be alive. Bring friends with you, shotguns, whatever you'll find, but they need to understand that stealing from someone is not the right way to live together ...

If you want your things back, use the violence. It's sad to write but it's the truth. The cops and the court won't help you in this range of time.

Keep us in touch

(If you were living in France, I would have been with you to get your guitars back.)

How did she get her hands on the guitars? If the cops are balking at this, there must be more to the story than is being told here.

Kevin S.

Sorry, there is and i cant be posting it online right now if you feel me. I dont know how they got them but if they did they broke in somehow.

Road King

I'm confused. Did someone kick your door down and rob your house. Or are these people your roommates who took your gear? If you live together, that may be more of a civil case. Breaking and entering is a whole different thing.

Tondog

Some seriously big chunks of information missing here.

Cogan C.

I agree with most here, something seems off. If you were robbed and have evidence of who's responsible, the police would be very responsive in helping you get your gear back and would most certainly file a report. What relationship is this girl to you, how do you know her? How about 'Homeboy', who is he, a thug for fat chicks? How did they know you would be out of state? The police probably wouldn't have told you to go get them by yourself, they would have (and will) provide you an escort for you to retrieve your property on request. The police went to the theives (or buyers?)  house who have the guitars and the 'hired thug' tells them "they aren't giving your stolen property back?"

Just my two-cents but nothing seems right here and I know there are some cops that are deficient in their jobs but this just reads like some Keystone Cops caper or a Scooby Doo mystery.

Pushead

I'm sad that we'll never get to hear what happened to the guitars.

Road King

Probably got sold by roommates for past due rent money.

Kevin S.

I believe they sold them long before i was told that they had them. The reason the cops wont do much was because i was in another state and couldnt file a report over the phone. Secondly, it is a civil matter. Which i didnt know. Thats the reason for this post is hopefully i save some dude somewhere of having to go through this. Ive been quiet working a plan. I should have answers soon. I hate to be vague but the opening line of Lamb of God's "omerta" pretty much says it all....

Cogan C.

Can't wait to see how this secret plan unfolds. Hopefully it involves ninjas at some point.

Road King

So if it's a civil matter, that means no breaking and entering was involved. Sounds like these people are your roommates. You say Omerta, but I'm thinking All That Remains' "This probably won't end well." Be careful.
