Had my band's first show last night.

Since this place is so happening, I figured I'd share a few clips and pics from my band's first gig last night.   We don't have a singer and the footage is just from my camera sitting on the bar propped up by napkins.  We did 6 originals, I swapped to my Jeff Hanneman guitar and dedicated the last song in his honor for the last song called The Christian Crippler, and we had some moshing and got paid a small amount.  First show.. success.  Feels good brah.  Finally got to play Bill's Hanneman guitar live, that felt great.

Sweet.  How did that E530 do for you live?  I thought you were offloading it?

It was fantastic.  The cut was so good, mids were great.  I tried a few different tube configurations and honestly, with 6l6's and kt77's it was just meh.  Those JJ el34l's though, it's a totally different beast now.

I just wish the damn camera recorded anything that wasn't bass.. :lol

ChainOfThought

Nice.  I never had the pleasure of hearing it with a tube power section, but I can imagine the goodness.  I can definitely see 6l6's not pairing too well with it, KT77's I would have thought would be great though, thats kind of surprising.  My savage120 had 77's, loved the feel of that amp.

I mean, they weren't bad, totally usable in fact.  Just the el34l's made the amp shine (with the other components in the rig anyway).  I think the 77's have found a home in my tremoverb instead.

Sweet rig, dude. What pedals are you using?

Thanks.   Gmajor 1 and  midimate, and isp, homebrew doomsday as an od, boss oc3,  eq3b and a slash wah.

That's cool!

All I remember about my first gig was that the stage lights were especially blinding and I couldn't see the crowd. I'm kinda glad there isn't any evidence of that night except some pics.

Nice rig too!

Was that really yours band first show? You looked like it was yours x performance

Thanks lol.  It was definitely our first show!  Nervous jitters passed quickly after song one when we had a good cheer from the audience.  As goes these things I guess.  Finally got a vocalist we're working in so hopefully some more shows soon!

I had to sneak it at work, but I thought it sounded good.  I really like the set-up too.
